Santa Fe Pop Warner partners with local businesses, community leaders and generous sponsors to help enable every eligible child an opportunity to participate in Pop Warner activities despite their families' financial struggles.

There will be a limited number of scholarships available due to funding.

There is a limit of two Scholarships per family.

The deadline for Scholarship Application is July 17, 2010. A Scholarship will cover 1/2 of the participants Registration Fee ($50.00 football / $70 cheerleading). A payment of $50.00 for football or $70 for cheerleading is due with the Scholarship Application. If you do not recieve a Scholarship you will have the option of paying the balance by July 17th or recieve a full refund. If you choose a full refund you must notify the board by July 17th.

All applicants total yearly income for household can not exceed $30,000 annually. This includes AFDC, food stamps,free lunch or other assistance.
Santa Fe Pop Warner does require that parents make a commitment to volunteer in exchange for the financial commitment we've made with your family. A minimum of 4 volunteer hours for Santa Fe's Pop Warner program must be documented by the "Team Mom". If the hours are not met by the end of the season the family will be reponsible for reimbursing the Santa Fe Pop Warner Program for the full amount of the scholarship. The family will also be deemed ineligible for a scholarship in the future.
To receive a scholarship consideration, the following need to be submitted by July 17th 2010.

2009 Federal Tax Return for all persons in the household.

One letter of character reference from a teacher, school offical or other youth sports program.

A signed "Scholarship Application Criteria" form.

2010 Pop Warner Registration Form.

Payment of $50.00 (football) or $70 (cheerleading).
Failure submit any of the above completed required information will deem the Application incomplete and will not be considered.
